Cuprite : Cuprite is a beautiful copper oxide mineral found as octahedral, cubic or dodecahedral crystals formed within oxidized zones of copper deposits. It has an incredible metallic luster, and is highly regarded for its beautiful appearance. It is a valuable collectors gem, and its soft nature is the only thing keeping it from being regarded amongst the most valuable of jewelry stones.
